Octane Updates
Production Octane APIs – IP address whitelisting – Action required by 1 July 2026

From 1 July 2026, IP address whitelisting will become mandatory for all production Octane API access as part of ongoing efforts to enhance platform security and reliability.

API requests originating from IP addresses that are not whitelisted will be blocked.

This change applies to production Octane APIs only, as Benzine Octane APIs already use IP address whitelisting.

Production APIs will accept traffic only from approved (whitelisted) static IP addresses. Requests from IP addresses that have not been registered in advance will be blocked. Dynamic IP addresses are not supported for production API access.

If you currently use, or plan to use, our production APIs:

Ensure your API traffic originates from static IP address(es). Raise a Service Request ticket in Assist, selecting: Classification: Software Request

System Name: API – Octane - Include the static IP address or IP address range you would like to have whitelisted.

To avoid service disruption, please submit your request by 15 June 2026. If you’re unsure of your IP address or range, your IT team or hosting provider can assist. Support If you have any questions or require assistance, please raise an Assist ticket or contact your Account Manager
